The strategy of the department is to have a global presence and to differentiate Warrior Minerals by offering logistics and financing services as well as trading solutions to customers.
The company operates a number of wholly owned regional infrastructure and logistics companies in the Middle East, Indonesia and Singapore which coupled with the variety of financing solutions that we are able to provide, has meant that we do business with a large proportion of the global mining, smelting and refining industries.
We are increasingly taking minority equity stakes in junior and mid-tier mining companies which allow them to benefit from our logistics, financing and technical expertise, while at the same time committing off-take agreements with a reliable counterparty.
Refined Metals
We put service at the heart of our business. We cover all the major base metal markets. We have become a truly global player with a presence in all of the key producing and consuming areas; this allows us to take advantage of regional arbitrage opportunities and allocate metal in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
We are physical metal traders, with an in-depth understanding of the industry; finance and distribution are key parts of our business today. The tendency is to buy wholesale and sell retail. In addition, we provide tailor made solutions for price risk management, physical market making and deal structuring.
